Liverpool won 2-1.. So my dream didn't come true much to my relief.. Haha now for the 2nd leg..

Something funny happened in my physics lecture this morning, the Prof was explaining to us about heat transfer through convection. He said that convection is due to velocity of air(u), specific heat(C), thermal conductivity(k) etc. So he wrote convection as a function, f(u,c,k). Oblivious to what he has written, he continue his lecture, but he paused to ask what's happening after giggles and finger pointing from us. Someone told him that he had written fuck and his face turned red, and immediately covered what he had written. And after that he kept saying he did not mean to write that, and apologised. Not that we mind, cos in this case it would be much easier for us to remember anyway. And he was quite stressed. HAhahaha... Funny lecturer, he always has jokes for his classes.

NUA NUA NUA... This is how I feel this whole day.. ARGH.. Must be the weather, too nice sleep and I've slept a total of 12 hours today. Shiok ah? No really, kinda have a headache.

Headache or not, tonite is the BIG match. Champions league Quater final between Liverpool and Juventus. I would have been more excited if not for all the injuries to Liverpool. How nice if Alonso, Hamann, Cisse, Kewell are able to start this match. But what makes this match so special was what happened 20 years ago, where due to crowd trouble, 39 fans died in the European Cup final in Heysel stadium(somewhere in Germany). After what had happened, the players of both sides are still forced to continue playing, and according to interviews of the players then, nobody had the mood to play, all of them just wanted to go home. Juventus won the match 1-0. After that the English FA withdraw all English clubs from European football for 5 years, and Liverpool was banned for much longer, cos this disaster was mainly caused by Liverpool fans.

And during my 12 hours of sleep, I dreamt of Liverpool losing 5-0. I woke up feeling buay song, and went back to sleep. This time I dreamt of Liverpool winning 2-0. You do the math.

Sam Allardyce said he was absolutely gutted his side ended up with nothing after the defeat by Liverpool and felt Bolton should have won the game.
'It's disappointing because we are better than them at the moment. I can take some joy if I am getting managers complaining about the way we play.

SHIT HIM. They are playing against a very depleted Liverpool side. They should be glad that they lost by 1 goal. And blame your players when you cant score, not at referee, nor at other managers. Liverpool had no fit strikers. ZERO, KOH SONG, LING DAN. And still manage to score 1. But if LIverpool continue to play this way against Juventus, I think Juve will win by 10 goals. No kidding. Nevertheless, I am still looking forward to this match.

The feeling of watching the 'GREATER' red side of North England hit the post twice and had a shot cleared off the line is priceless. But like it or not, the colour is BLUE now, red is the colour of the past. The BLUES are singing, 'I'm blue da ba dee da ba dai...'

The week's quizzes are finally over. Yeah and I scored 34/40 on life science quiz yesterday. I have quite a high ti kum rate.

It was April Fool yesterday. Used to had much fun on this day during my pri and sec school days. Playing pranks around ppl, kana tricked by ppl, planning pranks with friends on victims. Haha. Send 1 April Fool's sms to quite a no. of ppl yesterday and most of the ppl got tricked. Those who didnt are mostly guys. This shows that girls dunno how to scroll down a msg, or can't find the button to scroll, or they are guilty of passing my number around?? Haha bhb.

It just stop raining ouside, and now it's my nose turn to rain. Maybe I'll take a nap now since the weather is cool. Suspose to go home but.. nvm sleep 1st then say.

Tough week is ending. Last quiz tml, and 1 more phy quiz next week before exams. Hope can make it. I already feel shack liao. 3 papers back to back for my exams. Sianz.

Now I know how it feels like to be in a real life Ocean's 11, or Mission Impossible, where you can't let the others know who you are and why you are there. Not that I'm a thief, but I was that close to being 'caught', like how a thief should feel. Pheew.

Win Lose or Draw

Just this morning, I've finally felt the stress of the exams. And my maths tutor is damn slow, he gotta complete 4 tutorials in his next tutorial class. Let's see how he can make it. And I have 3 more quizzes to go this week. May the GODS bless me. Amen. Oh-Me-Tou-Fuo. Its the time of the year again!

Had a win lose or draw session with some of my friends on msn just now. Haha it was fun. There's this drawing funtion in msn and we used that to draw and let the others guess what are we drawing. The genre was movies, and somehow I can always guess correctly Justin's drawing. There were a few really nice drawings, like Mark's The Incredibles, Jus's Mission Impossible. On the contrary I drew a lousy drawing of Croughing Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Haha but to be fair, it's not an easy title to draw out. Grace's Dude, Where's My Car cannot make it also. Too bad I forgot to save the pics. Nvm shall play again next time.

Perhentian! (Spelling right?) Anyway should be going there in May if nothing goes wrong. Yeah baby its a beach resort in Malaysia. Gonna get really burnt. I just hope that I wont miss out on any important football matches then. Wooo.

Shack and disappointed

Went for a run just now. Alone. All my running khakis went home. Clocked 30 mins 36 secs in 6km. Was aiming for less than 30 mins but I didnt make it. There was an improvement though, my last timing was 33+ mins, wait till I am able to clock below 30 mins then I shall try out my 2.4 on the track. I wonder where I get my motivation to run nowadays. Izzit the 400 bucks for IPPT gold? Or stress from school? I dunno leh. I wasnt so 'onz' about runing when I was in the army. The 9.46 mins timing for 2.4 still huant me now and then. Like the miss in front of goal in that football match. But well let the past be the past. Be more professional!!!

Just feel like writing something. So here goes...

Suddenly feel like listening to boy band songs. So I went to d/l (er.. ya d/l.. shhh) some songs by backstreet boys and 2 from westlife. Its been quite some time since I last listen to their songs, and among all the boy bands, I can only stand BSB, cos their songs are slightly nicer. No Boyzone nor N'SYNC cos there're gay members inside. Haha. The 2 songs by Westlife, If I Let You Go and Swear It again, 'followed' me thru one of my more stressful period, during O levels. And that time my 1st nephew was born not long ago, so I sort of have a soft spot for these songs.

After Sec 4, I was slowly switching over from pop to rock songs. After I bought the Sugar Ray album, I felt that the members are more talented in the sense that they can play instruments and sing, instead of their boy band counterparts who can only sing. And then Justin lent me Blink 182's new album (Take of your pants and jacket), and coincidentally it was their best album and thus I got hooked. Somehow I realised that listening to rock songs before coming to school will pump adrenaline into your blood, making you more alert, instead of becoming a sleepy head in class. Soon other rock bands found their way into my discman, like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Offsprings, Oasis etc.

Although I am not 'kan tang', but I still prefer to listen to ang moh songs to mandarin songs. My eldest sis influenced me as she always tuned in to ang moh radio channels, while my 2nd sis always listen to 93.3fm. I find that 93.3 DJs were quite boring so I started to follow my eldest sis and like ang moh songs more.

Its funny how some songs can be associated with a period with your life. Like what I said above, whenever I heard that 2 Westlife songs, I would be reminded of how I slog thru O levels and taking care of my nephew at the same time. Blink 182's The Rock Show and Stay Together WIth The Kids remind me of my JC days, Oasis's Stand By Me reminds me of my NS days when I was learning to play this song on the guitar, Puddle of Mud's Blurry will bring me back to my outfield days in NS during the sian recce course. Hero by Chad Kroeger will remind me of my past love life. Accidentally In Love - of my year 1 Uni days. Of course there are many many more.

Music, makes the people, come together... Haha therefore sharing mp3s is the thing to do.

I've got lots of instant noodles in my room, due to the left overs from the exam goodie bag given out by my hall. Shiok. No need to be afraid of getting hungry in the wee hours while studying.

Studies.... Ah.................................. MATHS IS GIVING ME THE CREEPS... AND I STILL DREAMT OF THE SHOT THAT I MISSED IN THAT MATCH!!!

My baby niece is 1 year old! And she loves the bear that I gave her. She kept kissing it. Wahaha. And she's a little 'star' now. Keep a look out when you're watching tv commercials. There is one new milk powder commercial starring Zoe Tay, and my niece is in it. For a short 2 seconds or so, you can see Zoe Tay carrying her, but only her back view lah. The main baby is too cute already so they only shoot the back view of my niece. But in less than a year old she has already starred along side Zoe Tay! Maybe when I was a baby I starred along side ... urm.. Xiang Yun(??) for a commercial too. Haha. Can anyone with tv card help me to record it down and send to me?? Thanks thanks. I can help u get my niece autograph.. er I mean thumb print.. in exchange.

Liverpool just closed the gap on Everton to 4 points. Never seen a match like this b4. Liverpool got 4 players injured in the 1st half and they had to make all of their 3 subsitutions, leaving the injured Garcia limping for the rest of the half. And of all players, Milan Baros, the top scorer of Euro 04, missed 2 one on one chances. ARGH!! And to make things worse, he got himself sent off!!!!!! That almost cost Liverpool the match. Pheeew..

Call me Mr ESPN. I would like to thank my father, my mother, my sisters, my nephews Ryan and Ching Hong, my niece Yvette who is turning 1 years old this coming Saturday, and myself for doing the hard work. Ya right. I dunno how come I can get this best subcommer thing also. I didnt go for most of the IH games that I am susposed to cover and I have to ask around to get the scores so that I can submit my report. Well the only thing I can think of is that at least I submitted on time. Haha. Punctuality rules.

Wearing contact lens for a week is killing my eyes. ARGH. I am Mr Cyclops ESPN!!!

New found distraction

Ok.. So much bout NO DISTRACTIONS. My friend told me bout this website : the hardest riddle in the world. And being the puzzle loving person, I started to play and now I cant stop! I am at level 8 now but should be able to get past this level once I've finish downloading the file. There are 91 levels, and from the rate I am going I cant finish solving all!! This is damn freaking hard. But I enjoyed it. Haha. Anyone who has completed it can tell me, I'll definately need your help. And anyone stuck at level 1-8 can tell me also, then I can suan you. Haha.

WHAT A MISS!

Back at hall at last. And believe it or not, I studied at home for the whole weekend. Urm, well except today cos I went to play soccer at Farrer Park field. Friendly match against a team of malays, and the referee is a malay too, so you can guess how many offsides he gave to my team. I played left midfield this time, and the both times when I was blown for offsides were wrong! I timed my run to perfection and he just happily blew the whistle. Argh. And to make things worse for me, I missed a very very good chance to score in the 1st minute of the game. One of my teammate threaded a through ball and with the goal keeper at my mercy, I blast the ball high into the sky with my left foot. ARGH. The ball was bouncing in front of me and I decided to use my left foot to struck a sweet volley but it turned out to be a bitter miss. This miss is going to haunt me for the rest of the year. I can feel it. Going to have nightmares tonite, and I will wake up in cold sweat and a pale face, with lightning flashes and thunder, not to mention strong winds blowing outside. Ok too drama liao. But to console myself, at least my team won 3-2.

From now till 22nd April, it's only STUDIES and SOCCER in my mind. Not even Mahjong or Maple can distract me. Wahaha.

This is my new look desk top. Cool ah? I've just bought a new Mac. Ya right.. Just spent a few hours to customize my windows desktop to look like a Mac. But I cant get rid of the recycle bin icon. It's at the top left of the screenshot, behind the calender. Anyone noes how to get rid of it??

Went for supper just now at fong seng. I ordered 2 kosongs and after a while the stall helper came with the pratas and said, '1 plain 1 kosong.' All of us were stunned and I told him it's not our order. Then he said, '1 plain 1 kosong correct mah.' Then we realised, 1 plain and 1 kosong = 2 kosongs. Good trick. Kana bluffed. Haha. Next time I shall order 1 plain and 1 kosong also.

Jr said, 'I heard this story. In the army, there was 1 guy who sweats a lot until his head got rashes when he wear his helmet. Wat do u think he did to solve this problem.'
Us: 'What???'
Jr: 'He put sanitary pad in his helmet so that it can soak up his sweat and prevent him from getting rashes.'
Us: '!!!'
But seriously, that's a cool idea. Who would have thought of that. Maybe next time there'll be no more common tissue paper. Just all new tissue paper made of sanitary pad to wipe sweat etc. In fact, just 1 will do cos can pass around let other's use also. Gross. Haha. Just need to cross the psychological barrier.

Anyway, I changed my tag board. The old one sux, always got error. So I've changed to the one Linda suggested. Hopefully it'll be a better one.

6 goals in he match of the season so far, Chelsea beat Barcelona 4-2. Can't remember when was the last time I've watched such an exciting match, full of controvesy and egos and goals. Maybe the UEFA cup final between Liverpool and Alaves in 2001 came close with the goals but certainly not the 'off the pitch' drama. All thanks to Mourinho. His arrival has kept former EPL biggest 'kao peh-ers' Ferguson (of Man U) and Wenger (of Arsenal) busy. Ok. Should stop toking bout soccer. You guys can read up on soccernet yourself. But Ronaldhino's 2nd goal was damn chio~!!

Anyway, I woke up at 1630 just now. Yup. Just yesterday I was damn hao lian bout waking up at 0730. Haha can't blame me though. Slept at 6am in the morning after watching the match. Luckily I didn't miss much today, 1 lecture and 1 tutorial only.

Ok.. Cannot laze around liao. Slept too much le. It's time for my books. Chaoz...

GAMES!

Wah.. I managed to wake up at 730am today. Surprising. Normally I would have turned off the alarm and go back to sleep again. But not this time.. Haha.

I seem to have a knack of finding and playing puzzle/silly games during exam time, or rather, when I am about to study to be exact. Yup I've foound a new game. It's like the previous cow game where you have to place arrows to move the cow back into the farm, but this time you'll have to destroy an alien. Dunno how to explain it better here but it's worth the download and it's free! But my all time favourite is 'The Lost Vikings'. Heard of that before? You control 3 vikings, each with their own special and unique skills, and you'll have to bring all 3 of them out of a spaceship. Not easy eh, but damn fun. Alright lecture time cya..

Speaking of singing, SOMEONE nominated me as my hall's worst singer. Haiyo. I wont win this award lah cos I know my singing can make it (I hope so). Anyway speaking of SOMEONE, he bought a loaf of bread last week and didnt even eat 1 bite. And the loaf expires tml!! He threw away so many packets of fries after the block supper and now he wants to waste bread also. Yup no prize for guessing who is this SOMEONE. That's my roomie. Still declare himself as the ultimate bread lover....

Pretty shack now.. Played soccer match against other team at Sembawang, 11 on 11. It's those kind they pay referee to come and officiate the match. I played left back today. Haha it's been almost 5 yrs since I've played left back during my sec sch days. So far performance wise still alright but stamina wise cannot make it. I ran till I can feel the numbness in my thighs and the last time I got this feeling was during army when I climbed Mt Biang in Brunei. Siong ah. I even got a bruise on my left thigh. We lost this match 2-1 btw. After the match, 1 of my team mate said,'F*** up lah.. How can you all lose to a lousy team!' And yes, they are not as good as what we thought. We controlled the match in 2nd half but cant score. Before the match, they even take team photo! They got their own jerseys, shorts and socks, and got girls come and support them even! For my team, we just wore any red shirt, we dun have pong pong girls, and we didnt even bring a ball! Dun even mention a camera. Its like the underdog team in the movies. But the underdog team always wins in the movies leh. Did I mention this is the 1st time I play with them? Haha I dun even noe their names.

No. Your eyes are not cheating you. The above photo shows 45 set of

extra value meal from Mac. With 200 Mcnuggets, 90 Mcdippers, 20 Mcwings

and 3 tubs of ice cream (not shown in picture). Of course, this table

is not big enough so all the drinks are on the floor. Shiok. First time

in my whole life that I see so much MacDonald's food lay out in front

of me. Haha. I'm loving it! However, less than 20 people showed up for

this block supper so we threw away quite a number of 'nua' fries. Guess

no more MacDonald's for me this month.

Sian sian sian.. Just when I wanted to leave for lecture, it rained heavily. So I've decided not to go for lecture, but study for my quiz later on instead. Darn. Should sleep earlier from now on, and get a good alarm clock that snoozes every minute.

My 2 swollen fingers are still not doing well. My left hand dun even have the strength to crush paper! I feel so handicapped.

They are good! But my sec sch (PHS) still haven produce a 7 straight 'A's student I think..

Now I cant play the guitar as my swollen fingers dun have the strength to press some chords.. Especially D cos I'll have to bend my middle finger most as well as all the bar chords.. And the injured fingers are slightly blue black in colour.. Not as gross as you think and they are recovering. The colour on Sunday was a lot darker and scarier...

Liverpool lost the league cup. And to add salt to wound, I watched the match in a Hall 5 TV room wif ah nehs. Not 1, but a bunch of them. I went with 2 of my friends to watch and initially there was only 2 ah nehs. Then more and more came in as the match went. And they filled the room with the 'smell'. You know.. It's the kind of smell in Mustafa except that it is much milder. And since Liverpool was leading and we had a good seat in the room, we stayed on. It appeared that it's one of the ah neh's bday today, and the others came in to 'celebrate with him'. ANd they were making so much noise that we almost cannot take it. Then Chelsea scored. Or rather, Liverpool scored. An own goal by Gerrald. My friend said that's his 1st goal for Chelsea even before he makes his debut for Chelsea. AH.. EXTRA TIME. For once I was hoping that Chelsea will score in 90 mins to spare me from this ah neh's torture. But it went into extra time. And luckily (or unluckily) there's no penalty shootout. Chelsea won.. woohoo... Not that I am racist, but they were really making too much noise in the room. If not for the fact that the birthday boy is a Liverpool fan too, I've would have kao peh back. Give him some face mah.

'Attack is the best form of defence', replied a friend.. Ok. So tml we will attack and leave gaps behind for the opponents to kio sai... hahahaha...

Woooo.. Home computer was down so I can't blog till I've returned to my hall.. All my windows cds are not at home so I can't reformat till later this week.. Here's the events from the past few days...

Fri : Played my weekly fri soccer in sch in the rain.. We were wandering around looking for courts and when we finally got 1, it started to rain.. But still, we continued playing and it's fun trying not to fall.. haha
Went for my hall's night cycling almost immediately after soccer.. We took bus to east coast and frm there at around 10 we cycled 1 big round to get to marine parade then to bedok where we had our 1st stop point.. After that cycled 1 big round to get to punggol to eat nasi lemak... Then cycled 1 big round (again!) passed my house and to bugis area to eat.. And then off to city hall, clark quay, and reached east coast at 6am.. the tiring part is not the cycling, but cos of lack of sleep.. My butt hurts from the bicycle seat.. argh..

Sat : Went to sajc carnival.. It's special this yr as this will be the last time that the carnival is held in this school building in Malan Rd.. So after the nite cycling yy picked us up and drove us there.. Its a damn hot day and basically we didnt do much there also.. Spent most of our coupons playing at this soccer penalty kick station, where you are playing against a very good goalkeeper.. Jus, Jr and I all tried and failed to score.. They both had shots that hit the post while I had a very good shot saved(really good shot tot can score and that gk managed to saved it!)... haha then we went to one of the blocks to nua.. And since all of us were tired we didnt want to go out and buy drinks so we we waited for quite sometime for someone to come over and sell the drinks to us.. haha.. And finally at 1pm or so we were bored stiff and went back.... Oh and b4 we went some of us went to try their skills in the candy floss machine... haha and they sucked at making candy floss.. haha no no pattern at all..

Sun : VERTICAL MARATHON!! WOOHOOO! The event that I've been waiting for.. Its fun! Its cool! Its enjoyable! Its 1325 steps high! The goodie bag is good, and ph 'kob' 3 goodie bags -_-||.. I think we took bout 11-12 mins per person (except that ph who took 7-8) to climb 51 storeys.. Friends were complaining bout the thin air but I got no problems breathing, except that my knee is creaking (like old machine without lubricating oil) when I walk... Must be due to the night cycling.. The sight is magnificent from the top, and the organisers had to chased us down cos all of us dun want to leave and wanted to take more pictures... Hehe definately one of the most memorable days.. GOOD JOB SHOELACE!

Mon : Went to bai nian wif my tutorial mates frm ntu... Haha we were all saying that ppl must be thinking to themselves : 'these siao kias.. Now when liao still went to bai nian..' haha anyway the main purpose is to gamble.. And one of them lost 100 while playing 'in between'... madness.. haha then played mahjong overnight.. Not bad for me, I won a bit.. heng...

Tue : Slept the whole day and came back to hall to study and start on my lab report.. And my mum still ask me to go back home to eat dinner on Wed nite as it's the 15th of the lunar new year..

Hall 12 to apply for it.. Its Hall 12 canvassing and they need 1000 ppl

to sign up for it then UOB can sponsor them.. Being the ever good

samaritan so I decided to help them a bit by signing up.. =P but

judging by the response I think it's hard for them to hit the target..

They should've held it in places like Canteen A or B instead of at

their ulu hall....

Played in my hall's inter block futsal tournament and got knocked out in the semis.. Could've went all the way to the finals but too bad... And moreover we are playing without reserves and so the 5 of us were damn shack cos there's nobody to sub us... Didnt play up to standard and I had 2 good chances to score... 1 of them I shot straight at the keepers leg and the other I volleyed just over...

Played blackjack last night with neighbours.. End up no win no lose... If not for the banker's blackjack in the last game I could've won 4 bucks.. haha

Boring weekend... Painted my front door tats all... and it took me 2 days... 1st day to scrap of old paint and paint white, 2nd day paint colour on it.. And my dad bought dark yellow paint!! I think he is a bit lao hua yan, see dark yellow as light yellow... But heng left some white paint to mix with the dark yellow and get light yellow... Clever right? haha lame...

Back from yy's bday dinner @ marina south.. As usual we joked non stop and played bowling... Fun but tired as the shopping for yy's present is not an easy task... Stella, Grace and I went around orchard last Friday and this afternoon and finally decided on a watch which we could have bought on Fri if not for their indecisiveness.. haha...

My friend's and her roomie's laptops got stolen a few days ago... And it happened in the span of 2 minutes when my friend went out to collect her laundry... Poor thing... Now the police are looking into it and my friend has found a suspect and she even ask some of us to secretly help her to take pics of that guy using our phones.. Haha this is the job for 007...

Somehow I feel that this week passes damn slow.... Or am I moving too fast? Alright I can hear my bed calling... Cao...

Feeling damn shack now... Played soccer and then climb 60 storeys(2*30 storeys HDB flat) on Sunday.. Almost went running on Monday(thanks to my neighbours bluff me saying that they are going for a run but actually they just ran finish).. Played tennis and softball today... Siong ah... During softball I feel damn 'Pa Jiao'.. Throw ball also cannot throw straight cos my arms are shacked out from tennis in the morning... But these few days were quite fun... Tml is yy's bday going to marina south for dinner, so the sports that I played for the past few days have gone down the drain... But Friday and Sunday playing soccer again! Yeah man~~ Then next week my friends jio swimming as the weather is good for sun tanning now... No need next week to tan lah I am already sunburnt...

Blogging at 3.30am... Siao lah.. Was doing phy tutorial and started to feel sleepy so turn on my mp3 to listen on my laptop using earphones(Jus sleeping so bo bian).. And after blasting rock music I am wide awake now, after finishing my tutorial so decided to tok some cock here... Been listening to Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams since I saw their MTV in Cineleisure while eating pastamania some time ago.. NICE SONG! I like the bridge part of the song where after the drums and electric guitar finish playing, the singer start to strum the accoustic guitar and sing... Guess this song will be playing on my laptop and MD player till CNY or until a nicer song 'overtakes' this song.. haha..

Ok CNY is coming.. Time for shopping.. The only time of the year where I buy things for myself. Targeting a pair of red Steven Gerrald's street soccer boots..(Friends said that I am mad to buy this to wear for new year) I dun see why I can't buy and wear it on new year wat.. Normally ppl buy sneakers or sports shoes and then after New Year they also wear it to run etc. So buy it for New Year then after New Year I will wear my boots to play soccer... Same wat.... Anyway besides that I dunno what to buy le.. Maybe a shirt or berms or jeans.... Or all 3... hahahaha... Used to have Exercise Shopping Cart with my army buddies.. haha but this time dunno when's the exercise commencing so I will go with my tut class mates 1st..

SO the tiger cup is over, and its time for the next exciting venture, TIME TO STUDY! ARGH I need an alarm clcok badly... Seems that I am getting immune to my handphone alarm...... To stress myself, I am going to announce, '3 more months to exams~!'

BAck from Grace's chalet during the weekend, played stupid games as usual and alcohol for the loser... Didnt drink much on the 1st night as I was usually good (uhem) but on the 2nd night I drank quite a lot during Garca's drinking game.. Damn the drinking card game is fun.. Basically to sum it up it's just see what card you picked and then depending on the card see who drink.. There are special cards, 1 of them in particular is the 'set a rule' card, whoever who got that card each time is able to set a stupid rule for the whole game, like 'right hand cannot touch the bed', 'left leg cannot touch the bed', 'speak Hokkien for the rest of the game' etc... And whoever fail to follow the rule have to drink.. Well I did a few combos, like using my right hand to take a card from the bed, in the process my left leg touch the bed too, and then after realising my mistakes, I shout, 'SHIT!!(I'm susposed to say in HOkkien!)' and so 1 shot kana 3 times... After the game I knocked out immediately, due to the lack of sleep and I drank too much... Hahaha fun game anyway... And the bbq was good too, since I started the fire.. Too bad the fillet cant match the standard of my fire, too salty liao... From now onwards I will call them(Jus, Kel Grace, yy etc) the Fellowship, cos there're 9 ppl altogether just like in the Lord of the Rings movie... Haha


Later tonite is the TIGER CUP FINAL!!! SINGAPORE VS INDONESIA!!!!! Too bad its not against the Malaysians.. I still cant forget how they thrashed us 4-0 2 years ago.. Even of we win tonight it still cant heal the wound, until we win them 4-0 back... Its a deep wound afterall..... We are quite lucky to get into the final seriously.. Luck, is something that Liverpool is lacking this season... Growing injury list, poor referee decisions, and a LOUSY KEEPER!!!! ARGH sad that we lost to Man u last night... Evenly contested match if not for the stupid goalkeeping error.. But hopefully Morientes will adapt to english football fast.. AND HE IS DEFINATELY NOT A FLOP!!! DO NOT INSULT/JUDGE EVEN BEFORE YOU SEE HIM PLAY HIS FIRST MATCH... AND I DIDNT SAY THAT ROONEY IS A FLOP WHEN HE JUST MOVED TO MAN U, ALTHOUGH HE IS ONE BIG EXPENSIVE FLOP NOW... Talented he is but this season Ronney just cant make it.. Talented Morientes is but do not judge him even before you know what's his jersey number and you'll eat you words (not only eat you will swallow and choke) in the end.. Beware...

Bought a guitar stand at Suntec on Sunday... Chio chio tio bai bio ah... Haha Now it sit (or rather, stand) between my bed and my desk... Damn cool if it's an electric guitar instead of an accoustic one on the stand... After I've saved enough $$, I'll buy an electric guitar to put it haha.. But currently my accoustic will do just fine.. Rock On Baby!

I've chosen a subject call Mind Over Stress, and its quite interesting.. The lecturer is a psychologist, and he was teaching us how to relax by breathing in and out, and how to cure insomia, by breathing in and then let out a sigh repeatedly for 10 times or so guarantee you'll become sleepy if not fall asleep... My friend tried it and she told me it worked! She fell asleep after around 15 times of sighing... Cool, I'll try it when I got the chance, but normally the moment my head touches my pillow I will sleep le...

Speaking of $$ I won Mahjong last nite, $17 bucks, and b4 the game we said the winnings will be donated to the tsunami victims... So after the game instead of donating the $$, we went to eat supper and spend $10, so left $7.. haha a bit bo xim lah but its the thought that counts... Maybe I should go around winning mahjong then donate all the winnings? Sounds good but I noe it's just an excuse for me to play more mahjong... But its damn heart breaking when u turn on the news and see the reports of the tsunami.. I think if Singapore win the Tiger Cup they will donate the prize money away... Ok no link there... Just came back from National Stadium, went to watch the Tiger Cup semis between Singapore and Myanmar... What a match... So much fighting and controversial decisions... Myanmar got 3 red cards... 3!!! Then it become 11 vs 8... Wtf... 4-2 the final score after extra time... But this match has everything that will excite a football fan.. 6 Goals, 3 Red Cards, a missed penalty, a disallowed goal, player wan to fight with referee, Myanmar fans wan to fight with Singapore fans.. Wahaha Good Ol' Malaysia Cup days are BACK!! OLE OLE OLE OLE~~~~~~~

Went for supper last nite with the gang.. Tot it's just a short supper and we ended up playing frisbee at west coast after that, at 1am!!! It was fun and we left at 3 plus... Haha

Tomorrow is New Year loh... Time to reflect on 2004... I used to look forward to 2004 because it's the year when I closed a chapter of my life(ORD loh!) and open a new one(STUDY!)... haha... Still in the army during early 2004, and most of the time complaining, cussing, cursing, kao-peh-ing about my new OC and CSM cos they realy suck... They don't know how to do things and then shift the blame on us when it cocked up... So being the ORD-ing personnels we only have to bite out lips and carry on... Ord in May, found some temp jobs like Underwater World Road show on weekends, some survey thingy job, and counting cars passed by.... The Underwater World road show was fun! I dressed up as the mascot dolphin Pinky and walked around in various NEL mrt stations... Then in the blink as an eye school started le... Got into Hall 1 and went to my hall's orientation camp... It was fun and my family got the best group! Learnt lots of stupid but fun games like 'how many meh mehs jump over the wall?' and 'Guess the MRT station'.. Then the real schooling starts, engineering courses are hectic compared to business so for Sep to early Oct I was the HARDWORKING me, doing tutorials, attending all the lectures etc... Come late Oct to Nov, I switched mode to the LAZY me, and tao bao Chemistry in the end... Then Dec hols is here and for the 1st time in tmy life I played so much mahjong in a week... Also had a unforgettable children's camp in my hall... And in 2004, all my friends turned 21, so went to countless bday parties, celebration etc, and burnt a hole in my pocket.. heehee

2004 is also the year when I re-met a special somebody b4 school starts... Couldnt find the chance to tell her tat and friends are telling me to jia you... haha

My New Year's Resolution for 2004 were:
1) Play more soccer (Did that, joined my cousin for Sunday football everyweek)
2) Play more mahjong (Done this too, esp at the end of the year)
3) Study hard (Sort of... But I know that I can do better)
4) Spend more time with my family (After I stayed in Hall it's like when I was in NS, only went home once a week...)
5) Get fitter (This is the resolution that I did not do haha)

Annual Christmas dinner at Jus' house on Sunday. Ate a lot of food(everyone brought their own and I brought AGAR AGAR btw, HARD AGAR AGAR), and cant finish the food, so we played games(as usual), and the loser have to eat 1 chicken wing or wat.. And played pictionary, and I was declared the ALL-PLAY CHAMPION!!! haha.. And we exchanged presents... I've a got nice shirt from Yunyi(cos I intro her to a part time job tats y she gave me a nice present, if not I think I only get a bookmark? haha jk ah)

Played Mahjong last nite with Jus, Grace and Jiarong.. I won 13 bucks BUT the highlight is... Jus got a SHI SAN YAO!! 十三么!!! Unbelievable.... Never seen b4... And I am the one who threw him the winning tile!! I was too preoccupied bout guarding Jiarong and trying to win such that I forgot Jus was waiting to win Shi San Yao.. And yes he told everyone that he's calling for shi san yao(quite stupid though, I woulnt tell ppl what I'm playing), and yet I can still gif him the bloody YI WAN!!! Ah... But nevermind I still win though... Oh ya did I mention that Grace Zha Hu again??

Slacked the whole day today... Woke up at 1330 adn I was susposed to go and support my hall sepak takraw team in the quater finals at 12!!! Haha and they won so ok lah still got chance to go support them in the semis... In the afetrnoon I watched 3 movies, and there are 4 more movies d/l in my laptop that I haven watched... And I hate the law tats gonna start next year that we cant d/l any copyrighted stuff like mp3, movies etc... AHHHHHH What Am I Going To Do?!?!?! Sianz. . .

Tml's my hall's OG family outing to Jurong Swimming Complex, followed by dinner... Can only go to swim with them, evening I've got a friend from army throwing a bday party at his house, then after that have to go and meet my friends from tutorial class to celebrate one of their bday and Christmas.. Wah siong.. Luckily the birthday party and the class gathering are both quite near at east coast that area, so taxi fare wont cost much ba...

Happily woke up at 830 this morning as I'm meeting friends to go to Sentosa. It was drizzling very lightly outside but I'm still hopeful tat the rain will stop. Then after I left my house and reach Potong Pasir mrt, one of them sms me saying trip cancelled cos raining at harbour front.... AH... was totally sian diao... Wanted to persuade her tat the rain will confirm stop by the time we reach the beach but then xuan le ba... So I went home with a low morale.. Luckily my mum made coffee this morning so I stayed for a while longer before I left my house.. Imagine if I didnt stay for coffee I would have reached harbourfront by the time I recieved the sms. Then perhaps I can go and visit SAJC! ya right............. Well wat to do... Then they decided to go to KTV and swimming but since I'm on my way back home, and I cant(not cant lah is dun really like) to sing chinese songs and left my swimming trunks in school so didnt join them.

But anyway met 2 of my sec sch friends Zhenhui and Benjamin for a coffee (again!) in the afternoon to tok cock. When old male friends meet there's only 2 topics to tok about, NS and Soccer. So we chat bout their NS life, bout my sch life and bout last night disappointing Liverpool match. Haha both of their hair cut until so short. And they said the new intake of recruits will be getting the bullet proof SBO!! Cool! And there is a new type of Gotex(is tat how u spell it?) boots, made of leather. Wah after i ORD then give so many things. Basket.. And yeah I bought the present for my JC friends Christmas present exchange ceremony le..

For the past few days I feel strange, I cant sit still, well even when I am sitting down my mind is restless... Its not the physically unwell, sick type of strange but something else which I cant describe it. Battle of emotions?? Am I stress bout results?? No leh excited bout it but definately not stressed. Izzit bout this coming Charity camp?? Dun think so what's there to worry bout?? Bout Christmas?? Confirm NO I love Christmas. It rained in the afternoon, and IPPT was canceled!! Well when I have the urge to run, it rained. Too bad. Anyway got the reservist activation code. Its Armour Plate or Bronze Medal. They give you the green sticker with the codes to paste on your tv. COOL! Now I'm a true blue reservist personnel. Hahahaha. And my 1st ICT is in June next year. That's damn fast, 1 year after my ORD is my ICT le. Well I sort of look forward to it now. Ya sort of. This feeling will fade away when the time comes anyway. Haha.

So didnt get to go to Devil's Bar last nite. Went to dbl o instead. Too bad cant burn down tat place, nvm lah gif them some more time to earn some beer $$ 1st. DBL O was fun! Had much fun crapping around with my friends last nite. We didnt buy a present for one of my friend, angie, till the very last min. So a few of us went to Bugis to buy a bikini for her. Well I suggested buying Victoria Secrets and I got stares from my friends. Hmmm isnt it the same? You wear the bikini outside but VS inside. Haha anyway just a suggestion lah not serious bout it. Anyway there's a funny part. Another friend, Ziling, came along to help choose the bikini but she's going to buy another separate present for her later on(even more last min than us) and she doesnt want Angie to noe that we got her present so late. So we'll have to bluff Angie that Ziling's still working tats y she will meet us later. Here wat it is.. I brought along a digicam and started taking individual pics wif them. Initially we decided to eat at Crystal Jade. Then we got this queue number, 324, and waited. And waited. And waited. *BEEP* #320! 'Ah going to be our turn soon' *BEEP* #323! 'Yesh! coming coming' *BEEP* #340! 'WTF!! Nvm will jump back wan' *BEEP* #325! and after a few more beeping the gals cant take it anymore and confronted them. They reply, 'Table will be ready soon.' Ya waited for 1+ hr still tell us soon? In the end we went to eat sushi teh. haha oh well if 0324 or 3240 open today I would be jumping but too bad. But my bro-in-law won 1st prize though.. ANyways I noe how come my luck recently sux. They cut down the row of trees outside my house!! These tress were there since I was a baby!! Basket... According to feng shui, the once the greenery near your house got destroyed, luck will be down too. However they planted tree saplings recently, which according to feng shui means new life, new beginning etc. That's why I won mahjong. Feng Shui Master in the making...

Football manager 05 is out! That's my game of the year! haha I can spend 1 whole week rooted to my comp playing this game. To a normal person, this game sux, it has low graphics, and basically it revolves around words and numbers (stats to be exact). But to a football fan, this is THE game! YEAH!!! HAHAHAHA!! What a busy holidays I am going to have.

Damn. Talking bout holidays, I should've find a job. Turned down 3 temp jobs offer, and now I am regretting it. BO LUI AH!! Well what to do. Hope I am still able to get some job lobangs in my next hols. But anyway there's FM05 to keep me company, and children's camp, and then there's Christmas! Yeah! My fav period of the year is Christmas period. Somehow during Christmas people's mood are happier and more relaxed unlike other hols. And this year there are 3 different 'present exchanging ceremony'. My jc gang (as usual), my old sec sch friends and my current tut class. And not forgetting my 2 nephews and my niece! Oh man I am going broke. And that does not help when my mahjong form is bad. But then I won $25 last nite frm Glace and that broke my losing streak, so maybe the mahjong guru in me has return?? Hope so. And its been some time since I bet on soccer liao. So proud of myself haha.

Last nite my tut class had a bbq at ntu. When I told ppl about it they will say, 'wah, your class so hap ah.' Haha quite funny though cos all of they reactions are the same. And there was a cake fight last nite. We saboed a my friend who was a police during his ns and then he came chasing after us. Talk about being chased by a police. haha....

WOOOHOO~! Its been a long time since I watch Liverpool play well and win a game. Yup. The last time was the 1st champions league match between LIverpool and Monaco, which was quite long ago. Happy that a Liverpool youngster scored the winner, Neil Mellor. Never heard of him? You will hear more of him in the future I hope. And last nite Arsenal didnt play like Arsenal, instead they played like Crystal Palace, whole nite they only got 1 shot on target, which resulted in the goal. And their captain Patrick Veira is such a loser. In fact all of Arsenal's BLACK players are. They are clumsy and cheats. Veira dived when there's no contact between him and a Liverpool player. Shame on him he should've be sent off for that. And Arsenal's defenders are all black. Yes all of them. Thats y their reserve WHITE defender Pascal Cygan cant fit in cos the all the black defenders are racist towards him. Haha....

Anyway played soccer yesterday morning at Bishan park. We were virtually playing in a mud pool, and I got a bad cit on my left arm after someone raised his boot so high when challenging for the ball. Luckily I didnt went in for the ball, if not the cut will be on my face liao..

Bored bored bored.... Just tot of asking friends to play mahjong but after remembering my losing streak I decided tat sleeping at home is the wiser (and cheaper) choice...

Cant go to JB in Tue with Jus, Grace and Stella as I'm having meeting with the rest of the programmers in school... Its been a long time (3-4 yrs i think) since I went to JB...

My bio-clock is readjusting again... Somehow I'm able to remain wide awake even till 5am in the morning and able to get up by 11am... But i feel a bit sleepy now, can't blame me, the weather is good for a nap now...

yeah i did it... copied over this blog skin but have to edit it as it is in HTML... even though i was called the compting guru, i had a hard time figuring out wat the hell the codes are toking about... but anyway no matter wat i am still the guru and managed to settle it.. Holidays loh.. SOmehow this coming holidays make me feel more excited then b4... Perhaps it's the 1st holidays i had in 2 years... Hope to spend it with someone.. =)

I am reading my effective communication text book... Hard to concentrate as its my last paper and i just finished playing warcraft! haha and tml morning.. er no its later this morning is my last paper! yeah!

Anyway when i was reading the com book, i came across a chapter bout personal identity. It says something like how your parents make identity scripts for you when you were young, something like 'save money for rainy days', 'always help others' etc.. haha this reminds me of my mum nagging me when i was young to study hard if not next time sweep the roads, and i remember she keep psychoing me to get into Victoria sec... haha i promised her i will get in but in the end i didnt... but nevermind at least i got into uni... haha well that's the script created for me when i was young, to study and study and study...

Next time when i become a dad i will probably say this to my son 'Son, play more soccer and get into Liverpool first team and make me proud' haha..

Went 4 a friend's bday chalet on sat and sun... it was funny seeing her got 'sabo'ed and also quite nice to have the group staying over... but too bad some of them cant make it and i had to leave early on sun to go home study (actually i went home to sleep lah, but if i didnt sleep how to study?)... sianz... and after my last paper on 18th nov got 1 more chalet.. haha I am going to enjoy this one, wif no exams troubling me... btw its about 30 more days to the end of my exams... wait long long ah...

Seems like for the past few posts i kept saying bout guitars, performance etc... well its professional illness lah haha.... gotta stop playing my guitar and start studying!!! Its 1/2 past midnite, and i didnt accomplish much.... in fact, i did nothing the whole day... Tutorials undone, subjects unrevised, muscle aching frm playing soccer in the afternoon, and headache frm kana trashed left right centre on I Chess by our hall captain just now..... and i feel hungry out of a suddenly... and i keep procastinating on studying...

anyway tml (or rather later today) i am going to a friend's bday chalet... hope i will enjoy myself before seriously start my revision(should have done it long ago, but somehow just too busy)

tml is my 1st gig of my life! i'm the rythym guitarist (read:supporting guitarist) for my hall jam band and tml is our 1st performance... its a hall cultural event, and we'll be playing 2 songs, runaway train and creep.... haha hope i will not get stage fright and butter fingers... it'll be damn xia sway to play wrongly.. haha but i think it'll be quite fun...

ok... break week is over... and its bout 7 more weeks to my 1st paper! grasp! time flies when u are enjoying urself, playing around, sleeping, eating........ its back to reality le... maybe i should plan a study timetable like wat i did when i was in sec sch and jc... it served me well then hope it can bring me back to my old study form... haha...

WOOHOO!! Softball cahmpions!! Yeah My 1st competitive game and the 2nd softball game in my whole life... Cant remember when did i last played it, in pri sch i think... heck lah got medal can liao....

Speaking of IBG, I took part int the IBG 4x400m track relay... haha got 4th (out of 4) but cos the opponents are good... actually not so good... actually could have won... argh ok lah its me lah i cant run like last time liao.... haiz too much late nite suppers and slacking around... Should start my jogging regime soon ippt is creeping near... And i found Kel(surprisingly) as my jogging buddy... Its time to get back to my 'fit' state!!! *shows determined face*
