The run will start tonight.

I've been watching too much Lost and Heroes. After I finish Lost season 3, I'll be watching Prison Break season 3 already. How to study like that???

Luckily I am not a fan of animes.

It's been so long since I last blogged, and I've almost forgotten my log in email and password.

Liverpool lost.

Facebook is fun.

Exams are coming.

I am so dead.

There are many jokes about how parents teach their children about the birds and the bees, but this is the most original one I've ever seen.

Boy: "Daddy? How did I come into this world?"

Dad: "Well, my child, some day I'll have to tell you any way.

Boy:"So why not today? Please!"

Dad: "OK, but listen carefully.""Mom and Dad met each other in a cyber cafe. In the restrooms of that cyber cafe, dad connected to mom. Mom at that time made some downloads from dad's memory stick. When dad finished uploading we discovered we used no firewall. Since it was too late to cancel or delete, nine months later we ended up with a virus."

No offence, but this is damn funny.

One fine day, Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong visited India to meet their PM to negotiate trade terms. During the lunch break the Prime Minister of India suggested taking PM Goh for a spin in his helicopter and view India's city lifestyle.

As PMGoh was enjoying the bird's eye view from above, he noticed an over populated village with unhygienic living conditions. A man was even****ting in his backyard. PM Goh was fast to comment how unsightly it is and that India's people are so uncivilised. India's PM was so humiliated and vowed to himself that he'll humiliate PM Goh when he gets to visit S'pore.

When he really did visit S'pore the following month, PM Goh too offered him a ride in his helicopter to see the Singaporean lifestyle. For a whole hour, India's PM was trying to spot a fault. Finally he saw a place where people literally littered the streets, and as he had a closer look, he even noticed a man ****ting on the grass verge. He quickly pointed out to PM Goh about it and said, "You said Singapore was nothing like India. How do you account for this?"

PM Goh looked closer, smiled and replied"Aaahhh.. we called that place - Little India".

Crowds. Is it just me? Or somehow I just feel that it is more crowded around places nowadays. Take NTU for example. Super long queue at the bus interchange in the morning (even at 1030am!), super crowded canteens, and in the evenings the people queue from the Canteen A bus stop to along the overhead bridge! Even the 199 stop is like this also. Is it because of the bumper crop of 'dragon' ladies? I am shy around crowds you know..

Still on the topic on crowds, during my stint at the Jap Bank in Raffles Place, I hate the journey to and from work. Because I feel stress. Stressed that I can't get on the bus/train and will be late. I'm sure other people will feel that too! Not to mention the HIGH risk of getting stepped on by a fat lady in high heels. The rush hour crowd is madness! Lunch time also rush to get seats and rush to queue up. So the Government still want more babies. Come on lah, even going to work is stressed already, how to make babies? Studies show that stress results in poor sexual performances, and generate that 'no mood' feeling.

I think I will enjoy doing my FYP. My Prof didn't give me any deadlines or what, just tell me to learn the 3D program, and set up the 6 PCs (yes, I got 6 comps just to do my FYP!) assigned to me in the lab. To think that I was still quite disappointed initailly when I got this project, cos it's my 3rd choice, and I am doing something that I've never done before, which is graphical design. Believe it or not, I enjoyed doing my FYP. Haha. Hopefully I wont hit any walls!

For some reasons I cant upload the images to blogger. But anyway, seriously speaking, the only thing worth mentioning is the fireworks. So don't bother about the rest. BUT, the artillery guns at the bay were damn cool. Because they were so loud when firing the 21-gun salute, a little girl sitting near us cried! For really long! Poor thing.

I'll be watching fireworks later today. I hope I can film the whole fireworks display down cos I need it for my FYP. I'll be doing a fireworks simulation in a VR environment for it. Sounds cool right? But I have no idea on how to start! So I guess I should film the fireworks for some inspiration first. And then try and master that program. 3D Studio Max anyone?

Ok some real updates..

I found a temp job for 2 months at a jap bank. It was boring work but I enjoyed my stay there cos I had good company around. One head of department even asked me to work for him after I grad. He kept on saying, 'Engineers make good bankers!' But I think I'll stick to my engineering field for the moment. My last day of work was last friday, and my colleagues gave me a little Thank-you card and a delicious looking box of chocolates. That was nice of them!

I took 1/2 day off on my last day of work so that I could go to the airport to fetch hy back. Finally I don't have to do any more countdowns! =)

Alrights, then school started today. All the rush for notes and long queues during lunch hours suck. But this is my last year of school. Have to endure no matter what.

Side track abit. I saw a butch who took 179 with me this morning and she never shave her leg hair! Argh! Not that I purposely go and look at her legs, but she was standing in front of me when we were boarding the bus. And when I looked down to see the step on the bus entrance so that I can put my foot there, I saw the leg hair! Argh. Damn. What a great way to start my final year. And this is not the first time. Argh. I think I better don't mention it. Why can't they be normal girls? They tried so hard to be guys for what? Even want to grow leg hair! Go and serve NS lah!

Ok back to topic. What's the topic anyway? Oh ya updates.. I am going to watch NDP! My first ever NDP and it's not going to be in the National Stadium.

My legs itch to play soccer...

I will be joining 'Stand-Chart' marathon this Dec. Most prob 21km. Wooo. Hope the unfit me can last the distance.

Alrights till the next time!

I found a temp job in a Japanese Bank as Admin Clerk. I am not good in clerical work and I hope I can survive! Too bad I am not working in a German bank if not I can hao lian my German a bit. I got a B+ for German! Haha!

What FYP should I choose?

Aeronautical or Design Specialization?

I want to run and play football...

There is a medical distinction. We've all heard about people having guts or balls, but do you really know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed, the definitions are listed below:

GUTS - Is arriving home late after a night out with the guys, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: "Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?"

BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the guys, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the butt and having the balls to say: "You're next."

I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions. Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome, since both ultimately result in death. Hahaha.

Well, these 2 new pics summed up the season. Hopefully I can put up happy pics next year.

Liverpool lost to Milan and Fowler wasnt even on the bench for this game. Both my dreams were dashed!

Although Liverpool lost I wasnt that sad as Milan were the worthy winners. Ya Liverpool dominated the match but it was their lousy finishing that caused them to lose. As well as a lucky deflected free kick by Inzaghi. That goal was undeserving.

Anyway a few positives to take from this match,
1) Mascherano! Others can buy Sidwell or Hargreaves all they want. But Mascherano will come out tops. Look at how he shackled Kaka till he was replaced by Crouch. And not long after he went off Kaka was allowed all the time and space in the world to pass to Inzahgi to score his 2nd. That's how important the role Mascherano played in that game.

2) Dirk Kuyt finally scored his first Champions League goal for Liverpool.

3) Pennant! He was impressive in the first half and I think he can improved to challenge Lennon and Wright-Phillips for the right winger position in the England team.

4) This match was miles more entertaining than the FA Cup dull final between Chelsea and Man U. Whoever that said Liverpool is the most boring team amongst the 3 please shut up.

Ok enough about Liverpool. I watched the match with my friends at Chijmes. And after the game I was quite sian so I decided to walk home. Ya it took me 1 hour to get home but anyway, when I was walking at the industrial estate around my area, something dropped from the trees and landed a few feet away from me on the road. I thought it was a branch but it was a freaking bat!! It was struggling and dying after falling from such a height.
'Should I pick up a branch and poke it to see if it's still alive?'
'Should I drag it to the side of the pavement so that cars will not crush it?'
'What if the bat suddenly bites me and I turn into Batman, or vampire?'
'What if it's an ambush and there are lost of bats on that tree waiting to attack me?'
Since that bat was not moving already, I decided to ignore it and continue my walk home. On the way I passed by a cat and I guessed it will find it's breakfast very soon.

I have many many Liverpool videos, goals and compilations but this, this is the best ever!

"Don't let your heads drop.
All the players who go on
the pitch after half-time
have to keep their heads held high.
We are Liverpool.
You are playing for Liverpool.
Do not forget that.
You have to hold your heads
high for the supporters.
You have to do it for them.
You cannot call yourselves
Liverpool players if you have your heads down.
If we create a few chances
we have the possibility of getting back into this.
Believe you can do it and you will.
Give yourself the chance to be heroes."

(Rafa Benitez – Half time. Ataturk Stadium. Istanbul. 25th May 2005)

Based on your drawing and the 10 answers you gave this is a summary of your personality:
You are sensitive and indecisive at times. You are a freedom lover and a strong person. You are shy and reserved. If you've drawn a cross on each of windows, you always want to live alone. You are very tidy person. There's nothing wrong with that because you're pretty popular among friends. Your life is always full of changes.
You will avoid being alone and seek the company of others whenever possible. You love excitement and create it wherever you go. You see the world as it is, not as you believe it should be.
You are not a romantic person by nature. We also see that you are sensuous, sexual, and privately passionate. You don't think much about yourself.

Liverpool will never be the same again with out this guy...

Robbie Fowler. He is the player I adore most in the world, and he's the reason why I like Liverpool 12 years ago. He was the icon for Liverpool then just like how Steven Gerrard is the icon for Liverpool now. And I am sad that this is his last season for Liverpool. Good things must come to an end no matter what. Even when he is called 'God' by his adoring fans.

In my opinion he is the best Liverpool player I've ever seen. When he was going through a bad patch during the Houllier Era, I've emailed him through the Liverpool site saying some encouraging words and he (or rather his representative?) replied! It's a pity that I didnt keep the email cos I was using my old Pacnet email.

He inspired me to play football using my left foot as he is a left footer himself but I'm a right footer. Hence I had to train and learn to kick using my weaker left foot in Sec Sch. I'm pretty good shooting with my left foot now, but sometimes I confused myself in situations whereby I dunno which foot should I use to pass or shoot. Haha. I still take pride in my shooting using my left foot, which is more accurate but not as powerful when I shoot with my right.

I was devastated the day Fowler was sold to Leeds by the then manager Houllier. He wasn't at his best of form then and people said it was a good deal to offload him. Nevertheless, Liverpool fans still didn't forget him, and even after emergence of Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard, Fowler is still THE ONE that remained in our hearts. And Anfield will always be grateful to Benitez for bringing him back.

Now that he has played his last game for Liverpool at Anfield, I have a little wish: that he will score the winning goal in the Champions League Final next week. And let me see his goal celebration one last time in a Liverpool shirt.

All those who have a red heart can rejoice, for they have seen 'GOD'.

Give this man a Carlsberg...

And this man too!

And of course not forgetting this man!

And these... They can clean up the mess afterwards.. They should be used to that already, right?

For the majority of this year so far I've wished that I am in Shanghai. But, only last night, I wished that I was in Anfield watching this game.

Its Liverpool vs Ac Milan once again. Come May 23rd, I wish that I'm in Athens... And I can only wish, and dream. Cos they had made this dream possible.

I am taking my first paper tomorrow, not something that worries me though. It's an elective and furthermore the exam format is open book. What worries me is the core paper on Friday.

I really hope that I wont end up writing like that on my exam scripts.

I watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles today. I didnt skipped my way to the cinema as I had predicted, but I was trying to catch up with my 2 nephews who were a lot more excited and running ahead of me.

After I had managed to catch them and calm them down, we bought pop corns and drinks and went in to the cinema. I had to keep on reminding them not to talk loudly, and to sit down and watch the show quietly. Well they did. Except Chinghong who kept asking whats the name of the blue turtle, then the red one, then purple and the orange. And of course the name of the mouse. 'Jiu Jiu, what's the name of the bad guy?'
'Aiya I dunno lah keep quiet and watch.'
'Wah!! Leonardo is so stong. I know he sure win wan!' (He really shouted this out. Haha.)
'Tsk. Shhhhhhh!'
'Jiu Jiu, what is the name of the purple colour turtle?'
'Donatello! Tell you how many times already.'
'Then why they call him Donnie?'
'..... His name is too long already so they give him a shorter name.'

Yups. Show wise I think it was disappointing. I miss Shredder, and the original April O'Neil. Haha.

I have a very cute and sweet girlfriend. Not long after we started going out, during my birthday month, I sent her home after one of our dates. When we reached her house, she asked me to wait at the gate and then disappeared into the house. She appeared a few minutes later holding a tiramisu cake that she made herself wrapped in aluminum foil. 'Happy birthday!' she said as she passed the cake to me. Wow. Nobody has made any birthday cakes for me before, and this was real thoughtful of her to give me such a gift. It's simple but very sweet (pun intended, hahaha)! Honestly, I like it a lot.

A few months later, she flew to Shanghai for her GIP attachment. She made me something before she left, but as she couldn't finish it on time, she asked me whether will I accept a gift that is 70% ready. Well I said of course, but I still didnt recieve anything because she couldn't finish up to 70% yet. Therefore, she had to bring the whole gift to China to continue making it, and then find ways to sent it back. Luckily a friend of ours who was there for attachment came back to SG for Chinese New Year celebration, and she was able to pass it to him to bring it back. That's not the end of the story though. The gift wasnt complete when I recieved it and it was sealed in such a way that I couldnt open it. I had to pass my gift to her friend who will bring it to a shop to add the finishing touches on it. And then I finally recieved the present about 2 weeks ago.

This cushion went from AMK to East Coast to China and back to Singapore, then to Boon Lay to my hands temporarily, then to City Hall to Pasir Ris to Bugis and finally back to my hands! She had to went through all the trouble of making it (this was her 1st time sewing), and also to coordinate the 'gift passing' process and at the same time keep me from guessing what is it! Needless to say, I like it alot!

One fine day in 1990, I was jumping up and down like a little kid (urm.. hey I was still a little kid then) when I was going to watch this film.

One year later I was beaming and grinning on the way to watch this:

Then as cartoons took a backstage in my life and studies (yeah right) took over, I only managed to catch this on video, but still I was excited!

Now, a good 14 years later, I will be still grinning and skipping my way to the cinema to watch this.

The arrogance are back. And I dun have to say which group. I've recieved plenty of smses and msns since last night and every single one of them pissed me off to the bone. They are messages of pity and arrogance. Hey, I don't need any pity. And I thought they have become more modest but I was god damn wrong. It's not the team that I dislike. It's the way their fans show totally no respect or whatsoever.

Just F*** off and stop bragging about that. You guys know you don't deserve that victory.

Sunday, March 04, 2007

That goal has made man u the champions in a game that they don't even deserved a draw.

Shocked and saddened. This was how I felt when I recieved a message from my sis this morning about the passing of my Grandfather. I visited him in the hospital yesterday and he was not in a good shape. He had difficulty breathing and was really weak. My aunt told me that the doctor told us to brace ourselves for the worst, but somehow we were quietly confident that he will live pass the festive period as he was able to respond to our questions by shaking or nodding his head. Then when the news came this morning I was sad, but I wasn't affected so much as I was already more or less mentally prepared. Now I am worried for my Grandmother who's old and sickly, I hope she's able to accept it. Felt helpless that I cant even do anything to help or make her feel better. Sigh..

Rest in peace Ah Gong. We miss you already.

According to reports, this year is the year of the Fire Pig. You know, from the 5 elements : Earth, Metal, Fire, Water, Wood. I am a Water pig (don't ask me why, think it has to do with my birthday). And Water clashes with Fire! I better drink more water and place more 'watery stuff' around me. Haha. K lah I'm joking, I'm not that pang dang anymore ok!

Happy New Year everyone! May everyone grow fatter and richer in the year of the pig!

Everyone has heard this song before - the song from the Nokia advert. Not many people know what's the title of this song. And here it is!

"Digital Love" - Daft Punk

Last night I had a dream about you
In this dream I'm dancing right beside you
And it looked like everyone was having fun
the kind of feeling I've waited so long

Don't stop come a little closer
As we jam the rythm gets stronger
There's nothing wrong with just a little little fun
We were dancing all night long

The time is right to put my arms around you
You're feeling right
You wrap your arms around too
But suddenly I feel the shining sun
Before I knew it this dream was all gone

Ooh I don't know what to do
About this dream and you
I wish this dream comes true

Ooh I don't know what to do
About this dream and you
We'll make this dream come true

Why don't you play the game ?
Why don't you play the game ?

Nice song.

Shanghai fund needs MORE donations.. Interested parties pls leave a tag! Haha. The free pirated T shirt still stands!

Sunday, January 28, 2007

A packed stadium last night! The crowd was fantastic! All thanks to Ah Lian's friends, we managed to get seats opp the grandstand, which is the most happening area where the fans will cheer the loudest, curse and swear the fiercest, and taunt the opposition fans most. Haha. Its damn funny that we stood in unision to taunt the Malaysian players, as well as to scold the referee's and linesmen's past and future family generations for any decisions that went against us. Even the ball boys weren't spared! We were silenced for a short while when they scored, and the Malaysian fans were dancing around, which made every Singaporean fans in the stadium felt irritated. Then the jeers aimed at the Malaysians amplified! Ahaha. And the whole stadium erupted when Singapore scored. Shiok.

'Eh why just now dance so much now cannot dance?!?!' One fan shouted to the Malaysian fans.
'Balek Kumpung!' (Spelling?)
'F*** *** ***** *** ** ** ** * *!!!!'

Penalty shootout is damn exciting. And pity the last Malaysian taker, who faced the full wrath of Kallang. Haha. No wonder he missed. Whose balls wont shrink when there are more than 50,000 people jeering and cursing at you?

Haha. Damn it was fun. I shouted till my voice is hoarse. This Wednesday is the 1st leg final at 8pm. And I got German class till 730pm! Damn.

Singapore vs Malaysia

Let's help our country to save some construction $$ by tearing the stadium down tomorrow!

The 4-0 thrashing by Malaysia 2 years ago really irks me. Hope the team wont let us down tomorrow. Plus the debate bout the oddly shaped causeway. Argh. Okay I'm mixing politics with football. Just hope that the Malaysian players wont be playing with footrot due to the recent floods. Cause that will be painful playing in that conditon and then they will have excuses for losing.

M: 'Ah ku cannot kick the bola cos footrot!!'
S: 'Come come try our SAF powder! Very effective! Neighbours must take care of each other right? Give special discount for u! Sell u $10 per bottle!'

Heck I am really so confident for a Singapore victory tomorrow. Even though they played like shit in the 1st leg.

And I really wonder why is the jersey blue in colour now. They only reason I will accept is that they consult some fengshui master and he said that Singapore team must wear blue to win BIG honours. Hopefully they wont say things like 'Cos Chelsea is blue what!' I think 99% of the football fans in Singapore will rip the designer into pieces.

Come on Singapore! Bring back the Kallang roar! The Kallang wave! And the good o' Malaysian Cup days!

Sunday, January 21, 2007

Any one has lobangs for making namecards? Cos I want to print a set of namecards for myself that says 'Chua Wei Guan - Professional Calafare'. Haha. I went for a commercial shoot yesterday for a new local mandarin radio station. Yupz. Don't worry, I was just the calafare. No scripts for me, and the world wont see my famous mole. Haha. Just stood behind the DJs in a BBQ scene and act like I'm chatting with my friend. All that for $80! But I had to reach there at 2pm, and then I waited till 7+pm for my 'role'. Luckily I brought 2 friends along and we played 'dai-dee'. Hope I get more such good lobangs next time. For my Shanghai fund!

I went to Jus' place for BBQ and games after that. And played pictionary. Damn I've lost my 'All-play Master' title! AHHH...

On the other hand, Liverpool beat Chelsea 2-0! Did anyone see how Paulo Ferreria fell on his butt after Kuyt went passed him and score the 1st goal? Did anyone see how Petr Cech grasp the empty air after he failed to save Pennant's shot? Did anyone see Drogba's face when his little freekick act with Ballack backfired miserably? Haha! Joke of the Year! Nutmeg of the season!!

Thursday, January 18, 2007

I was happily waiting for my bus yesterday. As I was about to get on the bus, 'piak'! Bird shit dropped from the sky and right onto my hand. Damn! I can feel the warmth of the bird shit even! Argh.. Luckily I brought tissue paper and managed to wipe it clean before getting on the bus. Gross. Damn that bird. I want to roast it for dinner! If I had stood 1 step to my right, I would have gotten the first prize of having a bird shit dropped on my head. On the hindsight, I could have won 1st prize in 4D if that happens. Haha. Since it hit my hand, maybe I will win Starters prize instead. Hmmm... Maybe I will win mahjong!!

There's the Oscar's and the Emmy's. Here we have... The Chua's Award 2006!

Chua's Award for Song of the Year 2006
The infectious hit 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' by the Scissors Sisters, the World Cup song 'Time of your Life', and 'Welcome to the Black Parade' by The Chemical Romance, and the cute 'Schappi song' are nice songs but the award goes to...
'Blind' by Lifehouse!!
Song of the Year, hands down.

Chua's Award for Team of the Year 2006
Don't think that I will say it's Liverpool. They did well to win the FA Cup but my team of the year goes to...
Germany!
They won my heart from being a boring team to a exciting attacking team in the recent World Cup. That's enough to make me want to learn German! Haha.

Chua's Award for Game of the Year 2006
Italy vs France? No.. It's Liverpool vs West Ham in the FA Cup final!

Chua's Award for Goal of the Year 2006
This is easy. Crouch's bicycle kick goal? No... Joe Cole's volley in the World CUp? No.. Gerrard's long range equaliser against West Ham? No.. How bout Matt Taylor's Super long range volley? NO!!
And the award goes to....
Chua Wei Guan! For his goal against a very good team at Hall 2 court which left everyone applauding and kissing my toes. OK lah the 'kissing my toes' part is too much, but ya everyone applauded cos I squeezed through 2 defenders and dummied another before placing my shot into the bottom corner. BRILLIANT.

Chua's Club of the Year 2006
There's only 1 club to rule them all... The Chao Hee Nang Club! Founded by Grace CHong and currently headed by Mr Chua! Whoever says 'Huh?' will recieve an instant HI-5 from me and auto entry into this prestigious club!

Chua's Movie of the Year 2006
So many movies, but the award goes to.. Pirates of the Carribean! I like the part where they are trying to escape form the cannibals. Haha I laughed my ass off. And to make it extra specail, it's the first show I watched with HY!

Alrights thats all for 2006! Have a great 2007 to look forward to everyone!

Sunday, December 31, 2006

I have been busy, or rather, lazy lately to update my blog. Anyway it's New Year's Eve! Contrary to previous years, I will not make any New Year's resolution, since I would have forgotten all about it by March. Hence I will just wish all my family and friends a very Happy New Year! Those working please continue to work hard so that you are able to treat me; those studying please study harder, and let me copy tutorials; and those graduating in mid '07, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Tuesday, December 26, 2006

Merry Christmas! HY met my family for the first time on Christmas Eve, over at my sis' new place. Glad that it went well and I think my family warmed up to her. That's good already! And Yvette says she likes her!

Its Christmas! Wishing everyone a very Happy Merry and Fun Filled Christmas!

I've always liked Christmas. It has always been the No. 1 holiday to me. Maybe it's because of the amount of cartoons on TV when I was young. I will be glued to the telly for the whole day! And of course, the cool weather, Chirstmas lights, and the excitement just add to the festive joy. Oh and the Christmas presents!

When I was young, around 8-9 yrs old, I wanted to experience the joy of getting presents from santa. So, I got myself a Christmas stocking, and then got my mum to buy a toy for me so that I can put the toy in the stocking and hung it up so that on Christmas day when I woke up I would have a 'gift from santa', whom I imagined had dropped the present in my stocking while I was asleep! Haha how innocent. I think I got the idea from Mr Bean. Haha.

Wells, I will still hang up a Christmas Stocking outside my room and leave my living room window open. So feel free to break into my house and drop me a present k? Don't disappoint me!

My dad was discharged from the hospital yesterday afternoon. He's so much better already, able to walk and do things by himself, unlike last week before he got admitted he was so weak. My sis bought him a walking cane, which looks like those canes in the movies whereby u can press a button somewhere and the cane will turn into a machine gun or a sword. Haha.

Christmas is coming!

My dad got admitted into hospital this morning. He was very weak and his Arthritis was making his limbs painful and immovable. My family doc saw him and suggested to ward him in hospital, and he gave a referral letter that cost $130! Then I called for an ambulance to bring him to TTSH. He's still feeling weak but he's better and more cheerful already. He still has to be warded for a few more days for them to run some test. Luckily I took the day off from work today, if not I dunno how my mum is able to cope with my dad and 3 little kids @ home. Don't worry everything's fine already. =)

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

Got this in my mailbox and I found it damn funny! haha

This is hilarious!
1- Go to <http://www.google.com/> www.Google.com
2- Type in "Failure"
3- Look at what comes up as first listing
4- Tell other people before the people at Google fix it.

(It is unfortunately possible for a total failure to >>>reach the>>> >top).

Wow.. It's been some time since I've last logged into Blogger. Blogger got bought over by Google?? I've switched to the Google-Blogger beta thing anyway..

My legs itch for soccer, my hands itch for mahjong, my fingers itch for guitar, my eyes itch to close, my back is itchy.. 'Life's an itch, and then you scratch.' How true! I'm going to scratch my legs for soccer tomorrow!

Anyway, I realised that typing in short forms are not healthy. For example, I'm used to typing 'tmr' for tomorrow so often that I got took a second to think. I almost typed 'tomolo' instead!

Final report for my attachment has already handed in! A huge load was lifted off my shoulders!! Yeah! And less than 3 weeks to the end of my Industrial Attachment!!

Tuesday, November 14, 2006

Less than 4 weeks to the end of my Industrial Attachment! It's time for a well deserved break after that. Been busy with my final report nowadays and I;ve regretted not updating my log book regularly. Now I've to write 7 log book entries! I've finished 2 already, 5 more to go before I show my tutor this thurs. How encouraging.

I've got 2 hours and counting!

Sunday, October 29, 2006

I was on my way home from my Sunday soccer game and before I reach my house I saw police cars by the road side. Apparently a Trans-Island bus went up a kerb and hit a pillar of a flyover. The front of the bus, especially the driver seat side, was badly smashed. No bloodstains on the floor as far as I can 'beo-ed' though, so I guessed the bus driver should be alright.

Chua's Law of Laws

Law 1: Reading can make one bankrupt.

Reason:
Reading is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Power corrupts.
Corruption is a crime.
Crime dont pay.
No pay no money.
No money equals bankruptcy.

Therefore, I hereby proved Law 1. Reading can make one bankrupt.

Wow its been almost 2 weeks since I've last blogged. Nothing much happened though. Life has been so mundane that... that... er.. I cant remember what I did each day but it's something like this: Report to work, coffee break, act busy, lunch, act busy, coffee break, act busy, knock off. Sounds like fun.

It's mid Oct! Those on IA better finish up the bloody log book! Those still attending lectures please start studying! You don't know how much I've missed school, skipping lectures, tutorials, and mugging for exmas! Haha. I went back to NTU last thurs and thought I can crash a lecture in my school but it turned out that it was some e-learning week where those only online lectures and tutorials so students do not have to come to school. Thus I crashed a EEE lecture instead. Feels good to be in a Lecture Theatre! And after attending that lecture I am glad that I'm a Mechanical.

Watched World Trade Centre and its an 'okay' movie. Cant really descibe my thoughts on the show, because its not touching yet its emotional, its not a thriler yet its exciting (initially). The show did well to avoid political topics and just focus on the minds and emotions of the 2 trapped men. Since they were trapped they couldnt really act much, and you will be just looking at their eyes: scared, in pain, lost, yet with a faint glimmer of hope that someone will find them someday, somehow.

Why Osama is still at large??

Things I hate most on a bus ride

1) Drivers who didn't realised that they are in the year 2006 and are driving air-con buses. 'Eh uncle! Switch on the air-con lah!!'

2) Noisy kids who play and scream around on the bus. Infants are forgivable. I am thus thankful for my MP3 player, and my ear phone that blocks out extenal noises. But I can still hear them in between tracks!

3) Smell of food after a long day at work and hungry. It just makes my stomach growl. GGRRRROOOWWWWLLLL....

4) Passengers who want to stand up and walk to the exit when there's still a long way to go before the bus reach the stop. What's the big deal you may ask. It's not alright when they are sitting so damn near the exit and the bus is bloody crowded!!! 'Can relac or not?!? I will let you pass wan!!'

5) People who fart on a bus. Esp the 'got sound & got smell kind'. You can smell what they had for breakfast and lunch.

6) The person sitting beside you fell asleep and his head somehow found a place on my shoulder. Damn. No girl has fallen asleep and rest her head on my shoulder before.

7) Drivers who think that they are Formula One racers. I don't mind that when I'm in a rush. But they still want to race in a crowded bus? Beating red lights, drifting at bends doing a Jay Chou, and jamming the brakes like stamping a cockroach to death. I know the bus is a Merc but uncle I'm old already cannot take the thrill lah.

8) Cockroaches. The small babies who think that they are cute and like to appear out of nowhere to play peek-a-boo. I can play peek-a-boo with you but just don't crawl into my bag thank you very much.

9) Bells that don't work. You have to shout 'Ding dong!' to alert the driver that you want to alight next.

10) Contrary to the 1st point, drivers who think that they are cool and set the temperature to -180 degree Fahrenheit. A certain bus no 16 can attest to that. 'Ah chooo!'

11) People who refused to get down because their EZ Link cards have a problem and they could not tap to exit. They will just stand at the exit, despite stares from everyone on the bus, and frantically tapping the card reader hoping that it will beep and show the yellow light and the right fare deducted. But no, it's not going to work cos your big butt has sat on the card and crushed it. So please accept that the card is spoilt. JUST GET DOWN AND DON'T WASTE OUR TIME WATCHING YOU TAP THE BLOODY THING! ARGH!

Random thoughts here..

For months I've been procastinating to clear and revamp my 'work place' desk at home. Finally I've started something already. At least the CRT monitor is gone, but its still quite messy. Now to get my ass to IKEA to get some boards and after some hammering I hope it'll turn out nicely.

I need to change a mobile phone plan, Singtel Classic plan do not have free incoming calls, the Singtel iPlus student plan will suit me very very well. And besides, Nokia 6280 is selling at $99 for students! Damn. I was aiming for N70. But since N70 is quite an old model and 6280 has the functions that I wanted and its 99 bucks, I think I will get that. Compare phones here. Who cares if there are many ppl using that phone? Since I'll save $$ if I buy 6280, I think I will be able to spend more to revamp my work area at home already!

Liverpool website has been counting down to the top 100 players ever to play for the first team since June, and I've been religiously downloading every single video clip of the players. So far it's at 14th place and it's Micheal Owen. I wonder who'll get first. Dalglish, Keegan, Rush , Barnes, Fowler, Gerrard, Chua Wei Guan are all possible candidates. Cant wait to see who'll top the list!!

I hope I can get out of Republic Poly by mid Oct. Wake me up when September ends.

He's Russell Peters. How cool is that? Pay $85 and watch him make funny racist comments. Haha. But I am quite gian. His famous quote: 'Be a man. Do the right thing.', still sticks in my mind till now.

Anyone want to watch him talk nonsense too?

24 Things to do in an elevator.

1. Grimace painfully while smacking your forehead and muttering: "Shut up, dammit, all of you just shut UP!"
2. Whistle the first seven notes of "It's a Small World" incessantly.
3. Crack open your briefcase or purse, and while peering inside ask: "Got enough air in there?"
4. Offer name tags to everyone getting on the elevator. Wear yours upside-down.
5. Stand silent and motionless in the corner, facing the wall, without getting off. 6. When arriving at your floor, grunt and strain to yank the doors open, then act embarrassed when they open by themselves.
7. Greet everyone getting on the elevator with a warm handshake and ask them to call you Admiral.
8. On the highest floor, hold the door open and demand that it stay open until you hear the penny you dropped down the shaft go "plink" at the bottom.
9. Stare, grinning, at another passenger for a while, and then announce: "I've got new socks on!"
10. When at least 8 people have boarded, moan from the back: "Oh, no, not now, damn motion sickness!"
11. Meow occasionally.
12. Holler "Chutes away!" whenever the elevator descends.
13. Walk on with a cooler that says "human head" on the side.
14. Stare at another passenger for a while, then announce "You're one of THEM!" and move to the far corner of the elevator.
15. Wear a puppet on your hand and talk to other passengers "through" it.
16. When the elevator is silent, look around and ask "is that your beeper?"
17. Say "Ding!" at each floor.
18. Say "I wonder what all these do" and push the red buttons.
19. Listen to the elevator walls with a stethoscope.
20. Draw a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other passengers that this is your "personal space."
21. Announce in a demonic voice: "I must find a more suitable host body."
22. Make explosion noises when anyone presses a button.
23. Wear "X-Ray Specs" and leer suggestively at other passengers.
24. Stop at every floor, run off the elevator, then run back on.

Mystery of the pot bellies part 2.

What I covered previously was just during day time. Now for what they do after office hours....

We had a Residential Inspection (RI) a few days ago and we passed this smoothly. So come managers from the main contractor company went for dinner and drinks at the kopi-tiam nearby and my boss asked me and my friend to tag along. Okay for dinner we didnt order much, just some dishes and stuff. But they ordered like what? 10 gallons of beer??? And after dinner they still ask, 'Want to go karaoke mai??' What do they do there? Drink somemore! And know more girls! Still want to drag me along somemore. I rather go and touch the dusty pipes and carry fire extinguishers then touch the girls there lah.

For a project there will be many RIs. And imagine they go and celebrate like this after every inspection, and after every successful contract negotiation, and after every phase completion. No wonder their bellies get bigger and bigger!!

Conclusion:
A typical pot belly is made up of:
40% fat
30% beer
20% kopi/tea/soya bean
10% STD virus!!

Wednesday, September 06, 2006

My 2nd sis gave birth to a healthy baby girl this morning at 6.09am. She's the fourth addition to my family since 1999. She's big! She weighs 4.13 kg while I was only 3.5 kg or so when I was born. My house is gonna be even livier and noisier and messy from now on. 4 kids!! I hope that she's quiet and easy to feed and fall asleep easily. Not much to ask for right? Haha. She's not named yet, as her parents want to consult a fortune teller 1st. But anyway, I looking forward to seeing her!

Sunday, September 03, 2006

After a few weeks of working in a construction site, I finally found some time to slack off in the day time. My work cant start until 7pm as we are doing the fire alarm tests and if we do this in the day it will be noisy and disturbing. So for the past few days I've been walking around aimlessly, playing bejewelled and minesweeper, and taking a lot of kopi breaks.

Since I was so bored, I went to observe ppl. What I found out is shocking! About 99% of the men working in the site holding engineer positions and above have POT BELLIES! Not the small belly type, but those that are able to rival pregnant women! I don't notice this high percentage in other places before! And so after much detective work, I present my theory. The pot bellies usually do plannings, meetings and paperwork. Sounds very desk bound job right? But you're wrong. They need to be on the move most of the time, sometimes supervising works, attend meetings at different places, liasing with other people etc. And this is the problem. In between meetings, if they got the time, where do they go? Office? No way! What if they kana more arrows in the office to do more work? And so they go for canteen breaks! They went up to 3 canteen breaks in a day, excluding lunch time and dinner time (if they got OT). And if there's OT, there's always the supper! So here's a typical day of a pot belly:

900am - Report to work
930am - Boss not here yet, go and eat breakfast.
1000am - Meeting
1100am - Too early for lunch, dangerous time to go back office, so canteen beckons.
1200pm - LUNCH!!
100pm - After lunch break, slack around in office before another meeting
130pm - Meeting
300pm - Official coffee break.
330pm - Saw old friend, or met other boss - extend coffee break for chit chat or informal meeting.
400pm - Go back office to do some work and show face
530pm - Go home/Dinner if there's OT

Their coffee breaks are not just drinking coffee only. There will be snacks or finger food like chicken wings, buns, bread, deserts, nuggets, fishballs, fries, burgers and so on... Now you know where the bellies came from.

Mi di yi zing jie kai le!

My desktop has been spolit for a few months. And since I've decided to use my laptop at home now, I plan to get rid of my desktop minus the hard disk of course. And so I went to get a external hard disk cover for $55 so that I can put in my desktop harddisk in, and WALA! A portable hard disk drive for my laptop! After I bought it I realised that I can just buy the cable to hook it into my laptop for $25!! Argh..

But nevertheless, I got my old hard disk running while I was backing up my files into it I found these pictures. Haha.. Enjoy!

I bought 5 dollars TOTO quick pick and won 30 bucks. Minus away $26 medical fee (I went to see doc for MC), I made a loss of $1. Haha! I will look forward to more MCs in the future, something which I've never thought I will be looking forward to. Haiz. Work is such a drag now. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate working. It's just this job I'm doing now. Argh..

Ok back to my rest day. It rained heavily just as I was going to fetch my nephew home. His kindergarden is 10 mins walk away from my house, and due to the fact that it was raining pretty heavily and I was wearing a pair of 'botak' slippers, I was late and my nephew cried a bit in school cos he thought no one is going to bring him home. Haha. You should have seen the way I walked, like those ancient Chinese girls who bind their feets, taking small, painful and careful steps. I almost slipped and fell most of the time. Damn the sheltered walkways, they can shelter people from rain, but the bloody tiles are so slippery!

And after lunch I slept the whole afternoon away. Shiok.
I've won!!! Yes!! I won TOTO!!! My eyes almost popped out when I saw the results!!

I am rich!!

Together with 44,206 ppl, I am richer by 30 bucks!!!

Wooohooo~~!!!

I'm freaking bored. I'm not sleepy, not hungry, and my dota khakis are not around. Just played one game with my friend's friends and still feel sian. Thought that could meet up some of the bookworm gang later but got cancelled. I think I'll go watch some dvds.

Thursday, August 03, 2006

Everytime when it gets too quiet, I can imagine my phone ringing, and it will be my boos looking for me.
Everytime before I fall asleep, I will be thinking bout stuff at work.
I even dream of my work place!!

Please tell me I am still sane.

You are in a deep deep forest... as you walk on you saw an old hut standing there

(1) What is the status of the door?
(Opened/closed)

You enter the hut and see a table...
(2) What is the shape of the table?
(Round/Oval/Square/Rectangle/Triangle)

On top of the table there is a vase... in the vase there is water.
(3) How much water is it filled up with?
(Full/Half/Empty)

(4) and what is the vase made of?
[(Glass/porcelain/clay)(metal/plastic/wood)]

You walk out of the hut... as you carry on your walk in the forest... you see a waterfall from far...there is water running down...
(5) What is the speed of the water?
(Choose a number ranging from 0 to 10)
5

Some time after the waterfall... you step on something hard on the ground... as you look down... you see glistening gold in colour. You bend down and pick it up... it is a keychain chained with keys...
(6) How many key /keys you see hanging on the keychain?
(Choose a number ranging from 1 to 10)
2

You walk on and on... trying to find your way out...suddenly you see a castle.
(7) What is the condition of the castle?
(Old/new)

You enter the castle and saw a pool of murky water with shining jewels floating on it...
(8) Will you pick up the jewel?
(YES/NO)

Next to the murky pool... there's another pool... with clear water and money floating on it...
(9) Will you pick the money?
(YES/NO)

Walking to the end of the castle there is an exit...you proceed to walk out of the castle. Outside the exit, there is big garden, you see a box on the ground.
(10) What is the size of the box?
(small/medium/big)

(11) What is the material of the box?
(cardboard/paper/wooden/metal)

There is a bridge in the garden some distance away from the box,
(12) What is the bridge made of?
(metal/wooden/rattan)

Across the bridge, there is a horse.
(13) What is the colour of the horse?
(white/grey/brown/black)

(14) What is the horse doing?
(still and quiet/nibbling grass/running about)

OH NO!!! There is a tornado coming... some distance from the horse. You have 3 options:
(i) run and hide in the box?
(ii) run and hide under the bridge?
(iii) run to the horse, ride on and gallop away?

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are the interpretations:

(1) The door:
opened door - you are a person who is willing to share
closed door - you are a person who is keeping things to yourself
I keep my $$ to myself.. Hahaha!

(2) The table:
Round/oval - any friends that came along, you will accept and trust them completely
Square/rectangle - you are a bit more choosy on friends and only hangout with those whom you think are on the same frequency
Triangle - you are really very very picky about friends and there are not many friends in your life

(3) Water in vase:

Empty - your life is not fulfilled
Half filled - what you want in your life is half fullfilled
Full - your life is completely fulfilled and good for you! :)

(4) Material of vase:
glass/clay/porcelain - you are weak in your life and tends to be fragile
metal/plastic/wood - you are strong in your life

(5) Flow of waterfall:
0 - no sex drive at all
1 to 4 - low sex drive
5 - average sex drive
6 to 9 - high sex drive
10 - gone case!!! super high sex drive!!! Can't live without sex...

(6) Keys:
1 - you have one good friend in your life
2 to 5 - you have a few good friends in your life
6 to 10 - you have a lot good friends

(7) Castle:
Old - shows that your last relationship is not a good one and is not memorable to you.
New - your last relationship is good and it's still fresh in your heart.

(8) The jewel from the murky pool water:
YES - when your partner is around you, you will flirt around with others.
NO - when your partner is around, you will stick around with him/her most of the time.
Opps..

(9) The money from the clear water pool:
YES - even when your partner is not around you, you will still flirt around with others.
NO - even when your partner is not around, you will still think of her and and will be loyal to her, not flirting around with others.
Opps! Double Kill..

(10) The size of the box:
small - low ego
medium - average ego
big - high ego

(11) Material of the box (outlook of the box):
cardboard/paper/wooden(non-shining) - humble personality
metal - proud and stuck up personality

(12) The material of the bridge:
metal bridge - have very strong bond with your friends
wooden bridge - average bond with your friends
rattan bridge - you are not in good terms with your friends

(13) Colour of the horse:
white - your partner is pure and good in your heart.
grey/brown - your partner is only average in your heart.
black - your partner doesn't seem to be good in your heart and appears to be bad sign.

(14) Horse action:
still and quiet/nibbling grass - your partner is a very homely and humble person.
running about - your partner is a wild type person.

This the last but most important part of the test.
From how I ended the story... a tornado approaches... What are you going do? There are only 3 options:
(i) run and hide in the box?
(ii) run and hide under the bridge?
(iii) run to the horse, ride on and gallop away?

What will you choose?

Now, the above is signified by these things:
tornado - problems in your life
box - you
bridge - your friends
horse - your partner

(i) So if you choose the box, you keep your problems to yourself whenever you are met with problems.
(ii) or if you choose the bridge, you will go to your friends whenever you meet problems.
(iii) or lastly if you choose the horse, you seek your partner whenever your partner whenever you meet with problems.

I appeared in I-Weekly! It's just a small pic in some article bout campus food, and a bunch of interns from some poly came to Canteen 2 and I happened to be having lunch there. Actually I was quite pissed off that time, cos I just finished 1 paper and wanted to have a nice lunch then take a nice nap but instead these ppl keep asking and taking pics and preventing me from eating my chicken chop!! Think can tell from the pic that I am trying very hard to smile.

So have u bought a copy yet?

Speaking of interns, I worked till 8pm on yesterday, on a Sat night! I almost had to go to work today also! Argh! They have to rush cos the deadline is approaching very soon, and there are many things uncompleted and many many cock ups! Some thing is very wrong somewhere in the management and organisation of the whole project, and now everybody is suffering. And everyone is in this shit due to a few irresponsible idiots, who take MC on crucial days. Some even left the company and passed their shit work to other ppl who are already so busy. Damn the bloody idiots! Hope they fall into some shit holes and nv get up!!

Thursday, July 27, 2006

I wanted to rant about my company, but changed my mind. Here's an advice, try not to work for any construction firm or contractor.

I'm downloading some World Cup video highlights now. Looks cool. Now that the World Cup is over, some regularity has been restored. Haha. Like for example, I don't keep checking soccer odds every 1 hour already.

Crap. And why am I downloading these World Cup videos? Because I cant go out! I am hoping that my ankle will stop swelling by today and don't wish to walk around. The few chinese sin seh I know are all closed on Sundays. Damnit. Wondering whether should I take mc tmr, or brave the pain and go to work and then see a doc after that. But by then my ankle could be broken already. Maybe I should take mc tmr. Nvm shall see how.
I played soccer @ NTU field today. It was good, I scored a goal in 15 mins and then after a while got tackled and sprained my ankle. Damn sad lah. This was my 1st time playing 11-a-side soccer with my A01 gang and I had to come off after only playing for slightly less than 30 mins.

Stupid ankle. Stupid guy who tripped me. May you fall inside a long kang! A very deep one! ARGHH! Now I cant play for 2 weeks minimum. Damn.

Mambo was boring last night. It's been almost a year since I last went there, and I was a bit disappointed by the music. I could have slept there if there's a place for me loh. But I still managed to wake up and go to work on time, and finished the day in one piece. But that's because I left early. I think I will drop into some pit in the construction site if I've stayed on later. Haha.

I've got my construction helmet and safety boots already! Promotion again!

I;ve started my attachment, and on the first day, I happily reported to their office in Kallang. I woke up at 745, and reach there at 815, just a short 5 mins bus ride. After I met my supervisor, he happily said, 'Come! Let's go to the site!'
'Huh? What site?'
'Oh we got a project in Republic Poly in Woodlands. You will be reporting there from tomorrow onwards. Don't have to come to Kallang.'
'!!!!'

And so, my joy was shortlived. Argh. It will take me 40 mins to reach there by train or bus. But I still have to walk 10 mins to the site. Therefore I've been sleeping at 10pm nowadays, and wake up at 645!! Phew.

The temporary office I located is in the construction site in the Poly. And I always feel left out cos most of the time I dunno what the hell are they talking about.

'The pressure valve ah, must close if not the pipe will blah blah blah...'
'The gateway valve is at the Chiller room, then the pressure tank blah blah blah...'

So many terms and new places to remember. Haiz. 'Huh?? Simi valve? What room??'

And so many drawings. I am used to reading technical drawings of objects or tools, but now I am looking at the technical drawings of seven storey buildings. I should be a civil engineer instead!

But on the bright side, I got a pay raise on my 1st day! As I am attached to the site, I have a $60 extra every month to pay for my handphone bills. And every 5 mins I can help someone's hand phone ring.

Oh, and everyday I follow the whole gang of students to walk to school from the station, and it seems like a fashion parade! The RP girls can dress up better than the girls in NTU!! Haha. Sorry but that's the truth. But ya, NTU guys wear shabbily to school too. But at least I still can blend in with them. A bit. For instance, when I was slacking around in RP during lunch time, many students like to approach me for autograph. Urm, I mean surveys. Haha. And when I replied that I am not a student there but doing attachment, they went, 'Wah...'. What's the 'wah' for anyway? Haha. Wait till I get my safety shoes and helmet for the construction site. Then I think they wont be approaching me already.

One more piece of good news is that I will not be there for the whole of my attachment. But.. They are susposed to complete everything by Sep. And it seems like there's a delay and I think I will be stuck there till Oct or Nov. All because of the lousy main contractor!!

I had

1 bbq chicken wing,
countless chicken fillet,
sausages and crabmeats,
1/4 packet of Lays' Potatoe chips,
1 slice of cake,

Then for supper, I shared these with 5 friends -

Sugar cane juice, carrot cake & 'orh-luat' from Chomp Chomp;
Tao huay, you-tiao, shao bing & 3 durians from Geylang;
ice ka-chang from Newton Food Centre;
Ice HK tea from Hong Kong Cafe.

I am still feeling full now.

And so Cristiano 'Crybaby' Ronaldo cried foul on the ref's performance against France. Look who's crying!

Hehz.

Anyway, it's my nephew's birthday tomorrow, and I asked him what does he fancy for his birthday present.

Me: 'Ryan, what would you like to have for your birthday?'
I was expecting him to say Power Ranger Ninja Storm, or Masked Rider 555, or Astroboy, or Pokemon (don't ask me how I know the names), but...
Ryan (without battling an eyelid): 'I want a lot a lot of markers!'
Me: 'Huh? Markers???'
Ryan: 'Ya! Markers are so nice you know.' And he took out a red white board marker that his mum just gave him and drew an 'X' on his small white board.
Ryan: 'See? Wah red colour marker. So nice!'
Me (Dunno whether to laugh or not): 'Urm. Okay..'

And so the next day I asked him the same questions again.
Me: 'Eh Ryan, what do you want for your birthday tomorrow?'
Ryan: 'A lot a lot of markers loh!' And then ran off to play with his toys.

Okay then. I shall fulfill his wish, and save some $$ also!

So Germany was knocked out. I think i better don't jinx any team that I support. Like Argentina in 1998, England in 2002, Spain in 2006.

For the disapointed Spain fans and Germany fans..
Why is the whole world backing Italy?!?!

Henry's offside record in this World Cup would have made Inzaghi proud!

Anyway, attachment starts next week. And to my worst horror, the pay I will be receiving is the bare minimum - $540 a month! Argh! I should not have chosen this company in the 1st place, but because since it's near my house, I put it down as one of my choices. I'll have to work on Sat too! Haiz. Going back to serve NS can get more $$ somemore. But nvm, I like the company's name though. HART sounds like HUAT!!

HUAT AH! Germany you better win the World Cup!! Haha!

Mystery. How did the French not score a goal in 2002 and yet streamed past Brazil and Spain so easily? Why is Zidane still so zhai? Why England wasn't awarded 2 clear penalties? Why was Rooney red carded? Why was Jamie Carragher one of the penalty takers for England when I don't even recall him taking 1 penalty in a Liverpool Jersey?? How did Lampard miss chances after chances where he would have scored in Chelsea colours? After his miss in the Portugal match (don't ask me which one), Kel msged me saying that even he can score that one! But seriously, I wonder if England will progress if Fowler was playing. Haha. It's just a dream.

2 of the tournament favourites are out. Sent packing. Going home. For the English players, I think they are quite used to it already, getting knocked out in the quarter finals. Frankly, I think it'll be hard to point the finger at anyone, since all the players performed below par. Rooney, with all the focus on his broken toe, didn't perform. And Stupid Hub still considered him as a 'Lengend of the Day'. Come on, he has not prove himself in the international stage yet. Owen was a mere passenger before he got injured. Beckham didn't really contribute except for his freekicks. Lampard, urm, I think he had about 30 chances in this World Cup and he just couldn't score. For the Brazilians, it's just plain bad luck that Zidane decided to play football that day.

So, Germany vs Italy, Portugal vs France. Ballack vs Totti, Figo vs Zidane.

I can't remember what I want to type in here..

Nevertheless, GERMANY!!
